Most people arrive in this industry by accident and learn whatever the room happens to teach them. We think the work deserves better. Proper training, a real standard, and an education that treats it as the skilled profession it is.

The Institute was founded by a working dog care professional. Years spent in the trade, then hiring and training the people entering it, and watching capable people arrive unprepared through no fault of their own.
